Sophie is fully certified doctor of acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine by the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies ( www.wfas.org.cn ) in conjuction with World Health Organization.

In addition,  She obtained

• Advanced Training Course in Acupuncture and Moxibustion sponsored by the  People's Republic of China Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, at WFAS Beijing Traditional Medicine Training Center in China

• Internship at the Acupuncture  Moxibusition Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences in Beijing, China

Dr de Mestral-Chon is also a certified Medical Qigong Master and completed a Medical Qigong Clinical Internship at the Bejing Traditional Medicine Centre, China.
